    Our Online Courses work best with current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, or with Internet Explorer version 9 and above.
    Whichever browser you prefer, please use the most up-to-date version available to ensure that everything on the site works smoothly.

  • When I tried to register, it said my email was already in use

    Vesica only allows one registration per email address.  We do this to avoid confusion, and to protect each person's Vesica account. You may have registered before at Vesica. To see if you already have an account try logging in. Click on "Forgot my password" on the login page and provide your email address to get your login information sent to you.

  • I never got my verification email. What happened?

    Check your junk mail or spam folder for our email.  If you don't find it there contact us at info@vesica.org and let us know what happened.
    We will verify your account as soon as possible.
    Be sure to include your User ID and the email address you used to register.

  • What are the system requirements for online courses?

    PC users will need: Internet Explorer 9 (or newer), Firefox, or Chrome. Windows XP or newer.
    Broadband Internet connection. Pentium 4 or better CPU with 1GB Ram.

    Mac users will need: Safari, Firefox, Chrome. or Opera. Intel-based Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) or newer.
    Broadband Internet connection.

  • Video will not play, what can I do?

    1. Clear browser cache. Detailed instructions for most browsers can be found here:

    2. Quit and restart browser

    3. Try another browser and/or update browser to latest version.

    4. Check firewall settings. If you have a firewall or anti-virus software enabled—or if you're connected to the Internet through a proxy server—you may need to whitelist the domains below in order to access videos; This may also be necessary if you’re accessing courses through a private network.

    If the above measures do not fix the issue, it may be a temporary bandwidth problem with our video server. Take a break and try later.

  • Why can’t I play videos on Linux / Ubuntu?

    In order to play Vimeo videos on Ubuntu (and some other Linux operating systems), you will need the following packages:

    Chromium: 
    chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra

    Firefox: 
    gstreamer0.10-plugins-good 
    streamer0.10-ffmpeg

    If you’re using a Linux OS other than Ubuntu and this doesn’t do the trick, we recommend reaching out to the OS community for assistance.

  • I get error message when trying to register.

    Try again to register. Fill in the login, email, and password fields and then click on 'Enroll'.  If you get an error again please contact us at info@vesica.org and let us know what happened and what error message you received.  Be sure to include your User ID and the email address you tried to use to register.
    We will correct the problem as soon as possible.

  • How do I change my account settings / username / password?

    After logging in use the Account link at the top of any page on the site to change your information, including password, email and shipping addresses.

    If you forgot your username or password, use the login link at the top of any page on the site.
    The login has links to retrieve or change your username and password.
